Light Lab Quick Look: Cloud Defensive REIN 1.0

Cloud Defensive REIN 1.0

Overview

We ran the Cloud Defensive REIN 1.0 in our recent low light training, and it performed well. I personally liked the switches. We recently took a quick look at the REIN 2.0, so we thought we would provide 1.0 data for comparison.

Summary

Our sample here performed well, but not quite to the Cloud Defensive specs. CRI and color temperature are better than I typically see. I like the activation buttons on the unit, which are not measured here. In comparison to the previously tested REIN 2.0, this unit has more lumens and better CRI, but the 2.0 has a higher candela output.
